The Prairie Promise, where you exchange vows in pristine prairie beneath wide-open skies, or The Barnyard Blessing, where the historic 1907 barn stands proudly as your backdrop – rich in character, heritage and timeless charm.
Your celebration includes exclusive use of the property, allowing you and your guests to fully relax and settle into the landscape for a complete weekend experience. Cooper Creek Connection is a unique venue nestled in the heart of rural Alberta, where the original homesteader’s legacy lives on in the name. Spanning 320 acres of pristine virgin prairie, our private event space offers a harmonious blend of nature and community.
Guests can enjoy our charming 119-year-old barn for gatherings, alongside options for tenting and RV accommodations. We offer a rustic country setting perfect for a cozy micro wedding, engagement, elopement, family reunion and more. Additionally, private lodging offered by nearby Battle River Lodge for 10-24 guests located only minutes away.
For adult males and females seeking a safe, fitness-oriented escape, we provide a wholesome environment for retreat-style events. With a 15 km hiking trail system set in a scenic coulee, Cooper Creek Connection invites you to reconnect with nature and indulge in outdoor adventures.

outdoor activities and exploring the trails, while fall showcases beautiful foliage. Cooper Creek
Connection venue is open May 1 st through to September 30 th .
Yes! Guests can enjoy our 10 km hiking trail system set in a scenic coulee along the Cooper Creek, perfect for exploring nature
and rejuvenating your spirit. Plans are in place to add bicycling and horseback riding in 2027!
